Fun Fact:

Although Hades is often portrayed today as a sinister figure with flaming hair and a devilish grin – like in a certain Disney animation – the ancient Greeks saw him quite differently. Hades was viewed as serious, principled, and surprisingly… fair. Contrary to modern depictions, he wasn’t the god of death – that title belonged to Thanatos, who had a much calmer approach to dying. Hades was more of an underworld administrator than an executioner. His realm resembled an Office of Eternal Rest more than a Dantean horror.
