"Immediately after death (in western Lesser Poland), no one is let into the room with the deceased, because the dead are ashamed, as they are not properly dressed." While dressing the body, "they speak to the deceased, calling them by name, to help them be more cooperative."
"When summoning the midwife to prepare the dead (in Przebieczany), they call the deceased by name, so the rigor mortis will subside," and while putting on individual pieces of clothing, they say for example: "Give me your hand (naming the deceased), so I can put on your clothes."
