Fun Fact:
Pandora was a truly unique being—each of the Olympian gods gave her something of their own. Her name is no coincidence—it means “all-gifted.” She received beauty from Aphrodite, wisdom from Athena, the gift of music and speech from Apollo, but also less favorable traits like cunning and curiosity. Pandora was meant to be Zeus’s instrument of revenge, created to punish humanity for Prometheus’s theft of fire. The gods shaped her from clay, breathed life into her, and gave her to Epimetheus, Prometheus’s brother, despite his earlier warning never to accept gifts from Zeus.
