Fun Fact:

In one variant of ancient myths, the first deity to notice Jaryło's return to the world of the living was Morana, the goddess of death and nature, who was also the daughter of Perun and the twin sister of Jaryło. They fell in love but had to go through a series of traditional rituals observed in various Slavic customs of courtship or marriage.

The divine wedding between brother and sister, two children of the highest god, was celebrated during the summer solstice festival, now known as Noc Kupały.
